[link]So there was reason for my "I must draw in Tetsuya Nomura style" craze from a few months back. xDD
The character's nickname is Trigger, due to her numerous victories with shooting games in the arcades. I think she would be a cool hero. xD
Reasons for design
After looking at the concept art boards and the existing character art, the urban feeling of the game was the first thing that really stood out for me. And compared to previous games with the art of Nomura, the outfits are actually wearable. The design for the outfit came fast after that. I wanted to draw a hoodie so badly.
The existing characters have a rather muted, retro colour palet (with exeption of the main character, damn purple). Honestly, I tried pink at first (I'm such a girl) but that failed completely. It didn't fit in with the rest of the characters. I choose brown and orange after that, which I always find a great colour combination and fits exellent with the existing art of the game.
